First, our hunting property is among the best in Texas. We have implemented intensive game management on the our ranches.
Our guides spend hundreds of hours in the field each year. They are skilled in bow hunting as well as hunting with a rifle. They will make your hunt one to remember. Whether you are a trophy hunter or a hunter who simply likes to see lots of wildlife, you will be impressed with their professionalism. They will structure your hunt to fit your request (stand hunting, stalking, hunt all day, hunt only early and late, etc.). Be sure to bring your camera!
Finally, we are totally committed to providing you with an outstanding outdoors experience. Our meals are award winning and our accommodations are the best in West Texas. We are a family oriented business and we will gladly do our best to accommodate your friends or family should they come along. Non-hunting guests are welcome and may stay at the lodge with meals included for $75 per person per day.
Our hunters are happy with the warm and courteous atmosphere provided. We give all hunters an anonymous evaluation form to mail back to us after their hunt. We listen to what you say. We will gladly provide references if you desire. You are welcome to come visit before booking a hunt. We pride ourselves on service.
What is required to book a hunt with Roewe Outfitters?
We require a deposit equivalent to 50% of the total amount due for the hunt. This deposit may be made by check and is due at the time of booking the hunt. This deposit is non-refundable within 90 days of the hunt. The remainder of the total amount due must be paid by the date indicated by contract and before arrival in cash, money order, or company check. No personal checks will be accepted. We will do our best to work with you if something unexpected happens causing you not to be able to make a scheduled hunt. We want you to be happy with your decision to choose Roewe Outfitters.
All hunters are required to sign a written contract and waiver. A copy of this contract is available upon request. Alcoholic beverages are ONLY allowed at the hunting lodge after the completion of each day's hunt.
All hunters are required to possess a valid Texas hunting license including all applicable state and federal stamps (archery, turkey, migratory waterfowl, etc.).
All hunters born after September 1, 1971 must have successfully completed a Hunter's Education Training Course (HETC). Exception: Hunters age 16 and under can legally hunt without HETC if they are accompanied by a licensed hunter age 17 or older. There are not many places to purchase licenses in our service area. For this reason we strongly suggest that you make arrangements for a license and HETC well in advance of your arrival. A fifty-percent deposit is required to book a hunt. All monies received are non-refundable for any reason, therefore, please plan your hunt carefully. We will accept personal checks for payment if we receive the check no less than 2 weeks prior to the scheduled hunt date. Payments received less than 2 weeks before the hunt and at the time of the hunt must be certified funds, i.e., certified check, travelers check, postal order, wire transfer, or cash.
What's included in packaged hunts?
Our package hunts are three days of hunting and four nights of lodging, except for dove, which are a day and a half of hunting. Hunters generally arrive on Wednesday afternoon, hunt Thursday - Saturday, and depart on Sunday. Custom tailored hunts are available as well. The package prices are per person and include:

The animal or daily bag limits of the game sought,

An embroidered Roewe Outfitters cap, and

Cleaning of all game.
We are a full-service hunting operation. We provide transportation while on the hunting property. We can provide transportation to and from an airport. American Airlines currently serves Abilene Regional Airport located about 50 miles from the ranch headquarters. Rental cars are available at the airport.
Private pilots can fly into the Haskell Municipal Airport located 2 miles north of Haskell if hunting in Haskell. If hunting in Breckenridge, the Stephens County Airport is located 2 miles south of Breckenridge.
We operate and hunt near Haskell (Haskell County) and Breckenridge (Stephens and Shackelford Counties), Texas.

Does Roewe Outfitters process game?
For the deer hunter, we will dress and quarter your trophy. If you wish to have any meat processed and/or shipped, we can handle that for you. The processor will bill you separately for those charges.
